United States Cleveland-Cliffs plans to acquire AK Steel mill

Recently, The two companies recently announced that they have obtained the necessary approvals required for the merger.
Under the merger agreement, Cliffs will acquire all issued shares of AK Steel, which will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cliffs. The plan was originally scheduled for completion on March 13 but is still pending confirmation from shareholders of both companies.
