  • How does the train turn?

First, the heavy-duty shunting machine hauls the fully loaded train to the front of the dumper, and then locates it by the shifter, the car is automatically unhooked and separated, and then the dumper tightly “holds the vehicle in the arms”.

After the dumper is started, the vehicle is driven to rotate. During the operation, it will detect the fixation condition again by the oil pressure. When it is turned to 165 degrees, it will decelerate and brake. The vibrator will vibrate for 3 seconds.

After the coal unloading is completed, the puller pulls the empty car out and takes it away through the relocation platform, and at the same time pulls the fully loaded vehicle again into the dumper for the next cycle.

The tipping process seems simple but requires the precise coordination of multiple equipment and systems. After hundreds of tons of trains are “turned over”, they cannot be allowed to “run freely” immediately. Railway technicians must carefully inspect the key parts of the vehicles. Eliminate unsafe factors in time to ensure safe train operation.
