Originally, it needs to be hoisted to the storage area, waiting for the billet to be transported to the heating furnace by car. This time, it is directly transported to the straight rolling rod track. It goes forward all the way through the automatic thermometer and manual temperature measurement, and the temperature reaches the standard (≥ 980 ℃), and enters the rolling mill for rolling, and finally enters the cooling bed for cooling……

This 102 second process marks the success of one-time hot load test run of the company’s key project this year – straight rolling maintenance project, 24 hours earlier than the original plan.

In the critical period of April after the decisive battle of the company, the project has been successfully hot load tested in gaobang south line, gaobang and bar line


  • Project introduction

Improve the level of process operation, management and production organization of steel rolling process, and realize the steel rolling integration of “billet continuous casting direct rolling”, that is, the high-efficiency production process of billet hot delivery direct rolling. By adopting the process of hot delivery and direct rolling, the link of reheating billet in reheating furnace can be avoided, a lot of gas can be saved, energy consumption and operation cost can be significantly reduced, and considerable economic benefits can be created.
