This Korean customer visit mainly focused on rolls made of DCI, ICDP, and HSS materials. The LMM GROUP roll factory has five factory areas. Starting from raw materials, the entire process is under its own production control, and it can do both hot rolling and cold rolling. The total production capacity is 100,000 tons per year, which can produce shaped steel rolls and special steel rolls. 70% of the equipment is used for casting and 90% is used for forging. There are 2.3.5.10.15 tons intermediate frequency furnace. LMM GROUP took customers to visit the casting workshop, rough machining workshop, finishing workshop, heat treatment workshop and packaging workshop. The heat treatment furnace has 1 ton, 2 ton, 5 ton and 65 ton. The maximum ICDP material is 1360×5500 and weighs 60 tons. The maximum vertical pouring diameter is 3060. The largest roll on site is 1120×10800. The customer was deeply shocked by this visit. His impression was that they were all small rolls. It was the first time he saw such a large roll, and he highly praised LMM GROUP’s cooperation.
