The heating hood BCU control unit, as the core component of the hood annealing furnace, receives commands from the host computer through the Profibus fieldbus, controls the operation of 12 burners (high-voltage ignition, flame detection, no-fire alarm and other functions and safety protection) and feeds back relevant status signals to the host computer; at the same time, it monitors some process quantities in real time (gas and air pressure, hydrogen and nitrogen pressure, gas and air flow, flue gas oxygen content, etc.) so that timely measures can be taken when abnormalities occur to ensure system safety.
