The working voltage of the UV sensor is 220VAC. When UV light is detected, an AC signal is generated inside the sensor. This AC signal is rectified by the rectifier and becomes a DC signal, which is sent to the flame monitor main controller. The main controller will only respond to the DC signal.
The UV sensor must be kept dry and away from heat sources. The quartz lens in front of the probe can effectively keep the sensor away from the hot furnace atmosphere. If necessary, cooling air can also be introduced in front of the probe.
