[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Under the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, in order to ensure the safety of steel mill personnel and equipment such as blast furnaces, AMKR, Ukraine’s largest integrated steel mill, began to gradually reduce production around February until it closed its underground mines and completely stopped its smelting operations in March. But before that, AMKR rolled around 4.7 million tonnes of steel in 2021, 80 percent of which was exported. As of the end of March, AMKR had produced and exported about 300,000 tonnes of steel, and in April also planned to reopen the previously closed No. 6 and No. 8 blast furnaces, but only if the shortage of energy and raw material supplies was alleviated. The company plans to produce about 500,000 tons of steel in May. In terms of transportation, AMKR basically adopts automobile transportation to Europe, and expands its transportation to Poland. It is understood that AMKR is also considering shipping steel to Europe via the Black Sea port of Ismail in Ukraine.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”About LMM GROUP” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lmmgroupcn.com%2Fabout-lmm%2F|target:_blank”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1649296177864{margin-top: 50px !important;}”]friendship Link:
