At nine o’clock in the morning on December 19, 2023, the LMMGROUP product manager accompanied the German agent to the Hangzhou mill rolls production base. After the welcome ceremony, he visited the production workshop. Production process: casting [10 intermediate frequency furnaces of 1 ton, 3 ton, 5 ton, 10 tons, etc.] – heat treatment [15 heat treatment furnaces] – rough machining – finishing – inspection – packaging. The designed production capacity is 18,000 tons. This year’s production capacity is 13,000 tons, with rolls accounting for 90%, of which HSS rolls account for 20% and roll rings account for 10%. There are 6 centrifuges, horizontal centrifugal production.
After visiting the factory and office, we went to the conference room to discuss technical issues related to tolerances and hardness. The LMM GROUP factory has purchased two new high-precision CNC lathes, which will arrive at the factory at the end of the month. We are determined to improve the accuracy of order production in the future and ensure tolerances. The agent was very pleasantly surprised and said that the production base is very large and the management is very good. He also believed that the factory would have the ability to handle future orders.
