2023.12.20 The product manager of LMM GROUP accompanied the German agent to the Hangzhou high-speed steel roll production base. After arriving at the factory, I first watched the factory’s promotional video in the conference room and briefly introduced the factory’s production capacity of 15,000 tons. LMM GROUP high-speed steel roll production base is currently the only factory in China that only produces rolls and roll rings made of high-speed steel. Rolls account for 50% of the domestic market, and roller rings account for 80%. There are more than 300 employees, including more than 30 senior engineers. There are 2 casting production lines, 2 heat treatment lines, 2 roll processing lines, and 2 roll ring processing lines. The customer was shocked when he visited the workshop from raw materials – casting – heat treatment furnace and the factory’s special cooling method – rough machining – finishing – inspection – packaging.
After returning to the conference room after the visit, the agent said that there were no feedback on the use of the currently supplied rolls and roll rings, and he was very satisfied with LMM GROUP’s products and services. The production worker of LMM GROUP said that in the past two years, our product production technology has been continuously updated and improved, and the roller rings produced now will be of better quality and more cost-effective. The agent said that he would follow up with customers and new purchasing plans after returning to China.
