“AI Steel Company” is the 2nd largest integrated steel mill in Kuwait. It was put into operation in 2003. It uses short-process steelmaking and has its own steelmaking plant (scrap steel billet) 2strand, rolling mill and ferroalloy plant. The Rolling Mill production capacity is 500,000 tons/year.
Cooperation Timeline
Online automatic rebar counting and separation system Project communication started on April 27, 2023, our goods were shipped on October 26, 2023; Then “AI Steel Company” started to prepare the site as per our request.
On Feb 21, 2024 LMM technical teams did our 1st visiting to their workshop for our bar counting & splitting system online guidance installation & training. And on Mar 9, 2024 LMM technical teams finished the installation. Then we had a deep communication for our main products scopes, advantage products to reduce purchasing cost and increase the using performance and checked the site condition to know the “AI Steel Company” demands and difficulties in steelmaking, rolling mill etc.
On Mar 27,2024 “AI Steel Company” company sent us their recent cast iron rolls drawings, LMM technical teams supplied the HSS rolls proposal instead of cast iron rolls, shared the good advantage of HSS compared with cast iron rolls, to increase their rolls using performance & reduce the roll-changing time. On May 12,2024, we won trust from “AI Steel Company”.
On July 19~21,2024 “AI Steel Company” warmly invited us to their site for cooperating the below cases:
