Tungsten carbide rolls ring have been used in various fields of metal plastic processing. From non-ferrous metals to steel, from hot-rolled wire and pipe to cold-rolled foil strips, rebars, etc., tungsten carbide rolls are used. China has been able to produce dozens of varieties of tungsten carbide rolls from φ8 to φ300mm. However, with the high speed of wire rod finishing (maximum speed of 130 m/s), people are exploring ways to increase the hardness and strength of tungsten carbide rolls. This is mainly to add a small amount of TaC, NbC and Ni, Cr, Mo and other elements to the tungsten carbide roll; and to obtain a better quality roll by hot isostatic pressing, vacuum sintering, low pressure hot isostatic pressing, heat treatment and the like.
